Dulce de Leche Apples

I love caramel apples, but I just can't eat them. It's a struggle. The caramel is either too chewy or too hard, and I'm scared my teeth will shatter. So, how do I satisfy my caramel apple cravings? With Dulce de Leche Apples, of course! They are everything you love about caramel apples, but easier to eat...and dare I say more delicious too!

TOTAL TIME: 20 minutes + 2 hours refrigeration

SERVINGS: 6


INGREDIENTS:

1-6oz can/jar dulce de leche

6 apples

Chopped pecans or peanuts (optional)

METHOD:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Microwave the dulce de leche for about 30 seconds and stir.

  3. Dip the apples into the dulce de leche and roll them in the chopped nut mixture. Then place on the baking sheet and chill for 2 hours before serving.
